One of the easiest ways to remember numbers is through a technique called the Mnemonic major system. The system works by converting numbers into constant sounds, and then into words by adding vowels. In other words, if you want to remember a number like pi you can assign sounds or your own words to each number in the sequence.

Another great way to remember Pi, is to simply remember “May I have a large container of coffee”. This sentence will give you the first 8 digits of Pi. Each word representing a number, and the amount of characters representing that number’s value. So the word MAY, is the first number in the sequence. It has three letters. So the first number would be 3. This technique can easily be applied to any number you have to memorize.
