470. DIY Ice Packs That Stay Soft

Got an injury, or need a cold pack? Make one yourself!

Just mix 1 part rubbing alcohol with 3 parts water in a Ziploc bag, toss it in the freezer, and voilà!

The rubbing alcohol keeps it nice and slushy, so you can mold it around knees, shoulders, or whatever needs some cool relief. And it won’t freeze solid!

471. Ketchup: The Secret Copper Cleaner

Who knew ketchup could do more than just make fries taste amazing?

It’s actually an awesome copper cleaner, too!

The acid in ketchup lifts tarnish from copper pots, pans, or decor items, making them shiny again.

Just rub a layer of ketchup over the tarnished surface, wait a few minutes, and make sure to put it through the dishwasher!

Your copper will look almost as good as new.

472. Fog-Free Mirrors with Car Wax

Tired of fogged-up mirrors post-shower? Try some car wax!

Put a tiny amount on the mirror, let it dry, then buff it off with a dry cloth.

This trick creates a fog-resistant layer, keeping your mirror clear and fog-free for days, sometimes even weeks.
