464. Make your sour cream last longer

Did you know that sour cream will last twice as long if you turn the container upside down.

What this does is form a vacuum seal around the lid.

Making it harder for air and any bacteria to seep into the container. The same method works just as well with cottage cheese.

465. Get that last line of dust

We’ve all spent a million swipes at trying to get that last line of dust into the dustpan.

Sure, we always eventually get it in, but there’s a much easier way to get the job done.

All you have to do is use a piece of tape on the edge of your dustpan and tape it to the floor.

This will create a little air tight ramp that will help you get everything last drop.

466. Upgrade Your Bread

The next time you’re baking bread in oven, put a second pan with 8 ice cubes in it, on the rack below.

This produces steam that surrounds the loaf as it cooks, making the perfect “hard on the outside soft on the inside” loaf.
